Dude this has been incredibly common for a few years now. Band of Horses was in a Ford commercial two years ago and Trail of Dead did the NBA playoffs commercial. Grizzly Bear has been much more successful (commercially) than both of them.
Animal Collective, m83, Phoenix, etc have done this. They’re everywhere.
